For Outlook 2003 they were both setup as POP accounts. When I let it set up a Hotmail accountĪutomatically it sets it up as a Microsoft Exchange account. When I let Outlook 2016 automatically configure an account which for Outlook 2003 was a POP mail account, it sets it up as an IMAP account. My old laptop has Outlook 2003 with 5 accounts including two Hotmail accounts. Both are running Windows 10, latest version. The old one has Outlook 2003 and the new one has Office 2016 including Outlook 2016.
